Snow Sports Sale

The WSC Sale is an annual Community Event that enables individuals and families to buy or sell snow sports gear at affordable prices.  It’s really a sophisticated SWAP SHOP with anything reasonably priced guaranteed to sell.  The Sale is usually held during the last weekend of May at the Queenstown Ecents Centre.

This is the Ski Club's biggest fundraiser, run entirely by volunteers, every cent made out of the sale is used in helping us deliver affordable ski & snowboard lessons to the families of the Whakatipu and helping with maintenance of our Club Hut at Coronet Peak.

Thank you so much to our volunteers, the people who put their gear in to sell, and all those buyers that got great deals.  Thank you to the ski areas, the local shops, QLDC & the wider community for supporting this event.  We do really enjoy hosting this, it is such a lot of fun & the funds raised are invaluable to our club's survival.  We have been around since 1949 & hope to be around for many more years!

So thank you all once again, & keep an eye out for the 2024 sale, whether you want to volunteer, put gear into the sale or do both!  In the meantime, get out on the hill, put those toys you have purchased to good use & have a great season!
